    I came across your list of French Scripophily terms the other day - what a good idea. I looked through my Russian certificates and came up with a few that coud be added to your list. Perhaps they are not typical of French scripophily - but they are in French and may be useful to others. I'm not a native French speaker, so I'll let you do the 'fine tuning'! A good idea that I'm sure will be useful to many.

    Amidon – starch
    Anonyme (as in Société Anonyme or Compagnie Anonyme) – anonymous?
    Capital social – share capital
    Cartoucheries – cartridge factories
    Chimique – chemical
    Cuivre – copper
    Fabrication – manufacturing
    Laiton – brass
    Laminoirs – rolling
    Miniére – mining
    Naphte – naphtha
    Société d’industrie – industrial company (?)
    Soude – soda
    Tubes – tubing (pipes?)
